WELCOME

Headshot B&W.jpg

I am a provisionally registered psychologist currently completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and clinical training in Clinical Psychology. My PhD supervisory team are Associate Professor Maja Nedeljkovic, Dr Andrea Phillipou and Dr Jessica Mackelprang.

I achieved a first class honours degree in psychology in 2017, contributing to a project led by Associate Professor Neil Thomas to create a scale that measured people's understanding of their voice hearing experiences. My PhD research has focused on the use of Compassion Focused Therapy delivered as a group program for people who are recovering from trauma and disordered eating. Publications for this work are currently being written to enable the dissemination of findings. More information available in the Projects and Research section.

Alongside the research component of my PhD, I am undertaking training to become a registered general psychologist and then  which involves relevant coursework and clinical placements. My first two placements were through the Swinburne Psychology Clinic where I saw individual clients and then co-facilitated the Women's Trauma Recovery Group. In 2021 I undertook two further placements at the Royal Children's Hospital and Epworth Hospital, gaining experience across the lifespan with many different people.

I am currently not working in a clinical capacity as I complete my PhD but will be accepting new referrals from late 2022 and you are welcome to get in touch if you would like to be contacted then. I will be located in the inner eastern suburbs of Melbourne, and also able to conduct sessions via Telehealth.
